275th anniversary of Baron Trenck's death

Come and remember the life story of the warrior Franz Trenck in the Capuchin crypt.

This year marks 275 years since the death of the famous police leader Franz Trenck. The famous warrior spent his last years in prison at Špilberk Castle and was buried in the tomb of the Brno Capuchin Monastery. You can read about his fate in brief on our website, or you can follow Trenck directly to the tomb, where he rests to this day.

At the same time, we invite you to the Mass, which will be held on Friday, October 4 at 5 p.m. in the Church of the Discovery of St. Crisis. The October 4 is an important date for the Brno Capuchins for two reasons. On the one hand, this day is the feast day of their founder St. Francis of Assisi, and at the same time, a mass is celebrated for the most famous "inhabitant" of the Brno tomb, Franz Trenck.
